SBOA Insurance Names Damon Emerson Vice President, Self-Storage Solutions
Self-storage insurance veteran joins the Alchemy Insurance Solutions brand to lead sales strategy and accelerate growth for SBOA Tenant Insurance and develop new product offerings.
Lancaster, PA – August 2026 – SBOA Insurance, the self-storage insurance brand of Alchemy Insurance Solutions LLC, today announced that Damon Emerson as Vice President, Self-Storage Solutions. Emerson will focus on growing the company’s award-winning tenant insurance program while bringing his product expertise to the development of new solutions for self-storage operators.
Emerson brings more than two decades of self-storage insurance and operations experience to the role. He most recently served as Vice President of Sales and Customer Success at StorSuite, and previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Partner at Storage Shield. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at StorSmart Insurance, where he built the company’s presence throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic and helped scale its tenant insurance business nationally.

Emerson’s appointment follows SBOA Insurance’s rebrand earlier this year, which unified the company’s self-storage products under a single identity and signaled an expanded commitment to the operators it serves.
